About 32 years ago, some people envisaged India as being capable of producing world-class products. They then identified Chilled Cast Iron Roll (for various applications) as one such product. To realise this vision they formed the company Calcutta Rolls Manufacturing Company (CARSCO).

Today, CARSCO has established itself as a major market player in almost the entire range of rolls manufactured by it. The key to its success has been its ability to imbibe the latest ongoing innovation in technology and its coming up with "sure-products". Multi-Serve Rolls Ltd. (MSRL) is the logical expansion for offering a range of such "sure-products" comprising newer qualities and sizes of rolls for the most demanding applications.
